Rebecca Madison never imagined things could go this far. But the consequences of tasting a forbidden fruit were never as harmless as they seemed. When a devout Christian girl who never had so much as tasted a drop of alcohol went away to college, the only boyfriend she ever had predicted impending conflicts. Therefore, he dumped her. But even he could never have imagined the depths Rebecca would plunge herself into, as she ventured out with new friends to explore the New York world. Rebecca soon learned that sin was indeed pleasurable only for a season. She learned that sin was a slippery slope prodding her ever farther away from everything she thought she knew about the Lord and herself. Each precarious decision she made did bring new thrills to her flesh, but an ever-deepening emptiness to her soul. The inevitable questions then arose: Was the new life worth more than what had once been? Was the new life worth what might still be, the most crucial part to her life? Well, that is if she is still able to hang on to her life before it completely slips from her grasp.
